We are a very active fire dept.  We train the first, third, and fourth Monday of each month.  The second Monday is reserved for the monthly business meeting.  Even though the summer was hot that did not stop our trainings.  We performed various  trainings over the course of the summer.  Pump training was first an foremost the order of the summer.  An EVOC class was also attended by members of the department.  We did a walk through of the PBS plant on Swinehart Dr.  We also did an after action review of the API fire.  We also mixed some training up and went to the Middleburg Community Pool and trained with the lifeguards who work there.  A nice refreshing end to a hot day that's for sure.
